City boy milks cows with my 90 year old uncle : My friend Alex grew up in Bel Air. Not only had he not ever milked a cow... he had never touched one or seen one up close. So, on a trip through Vermont I took Alex to meet the most genuine "Vermont Farmer" there is in the state of Vermont. He happens to be my uncle Claude. Uncle Claude is now 95 years old and he lives in the same house he was born in. (He was literally born in the house). This farm he's worked on all his life, was given to him by his father (who worked the farm all his life)... and it's the only life Claude has ever known. Uncle Claude has NEVER been on a vacation his whole life. Not even for his honeymoon. "Cows must be milked everyday - no time for a vacation." he once said. He is a character beyond characters... anyone want to film him before it's too late? He's a documentary waiting to happen and "real" farmers are a dying breed in our modern world. I can hook you up.
